Long Son Pagoda Nha Trang
Home of the giant seated Buddha; Nha Trang's oldest buddhist pagoda!
Lam Son Pagoda and the Giant Seated Buddha
At this pagoda, you will see a 79 ft. tall white Buddha. The pagoda was established in 1963 (but was built on the site of Nha Trang's first pagoda) to honour the monks and nuns who died demonstrating against the Diem government.
At the top of the hill (yes you have to climb stairs) you will find the famous giant seated Buddha. A bonus: the view of Nha Trang City
After your visit, stay and have a sugar cane fresh juice (on the top of the hill), a great juice to discover if you haven't yet; it is refreshing!
